My Story

I created Sunny Side because I noticed that many students want help, but are also tired of people. Some feel left behind at school. Some become quieter because of bullying or loneliness. Some are told to push through, even when they are barely holding on.

I wanted to create a space where students do not have to be instantly okay. Sunny Side is not about fixing people as if they are broken. It is about helping students find small movements, safe connection, creative expression, and the feeling that they still belong somewhere.

Sunny Side is a quiet place to breathe, rebuild, and slowly begin again.

"It is okay to still feel sad. As long as there is even a quiet wish for happiness, you are still allowed to begin."
